Steps:
- Prepare a list of records to be changed (optionally). If you do not want to edit all the items, you can:
- Apply a filter – for details see Filter Records.
- Use the checkboxes to select records for mass edit. The manual selection has priority over an applied filter, i.e., if you use a filter and then select several items, only the selected items will be edited.
- Click the Mass Edit icon.
- Select the Field (column) to edit from the drop down.
- Select the Operator.
Enter the Value which will be applied to the Operator.
If you enter the value manually, Pricefx validates whether the new values correspond to the predefined options (if there are any).
All selected records will be changed. Changes cannot be undone.- In the Precision column, you can set the number of decimal places for the result. The calculation result will be rounded to the specified number of decimal places and saved in the database. Non-customizable mathematical rounding is used. If enabled by the admin, a default number of decimals is preselected depending on the corresponding data type.
- If needed, you can add another column for mass edits by clicking the Add icon and repeating the above steps.
- Click Edit items to confirm the changes. The number of records that will be changed is shown in the button label.
