Home Page

The Home tab is the page which displays after the login for all users and cannot be closed. It is organized into sections whose visibility depends on your entitlements. 

The following sections can be displayed: 

• Product Quick Search – All products you work with. You can type part-id or label of a product for quick search through Products in all directly related objects (price lists, price grids, quotes, manual price lists – but not rebate agreements or agreements/promotions). You need to enter at least four characters to activate the search. (This limit helps you get a more manageable number of search results – compared to searching e.g. a single character. It also relieves the query performance.)
• My Dashboards – All dashboards you can access. If you click the label of a dashboard, a new tab with the respective dashboard will open. 
• My Charts – All charts you can access. If you click the chart, a new tab with the chart opens.
• My ToDo List – All tasks assigned to you by the system (or other users). If there is a link, you can click the Item column and a new tab with the item will open. See how to make this section always displayed (even if it is empty). 
• My Pending Approvals – All objects you need to approve. If you double click the required line of the table, a new tab will open. See also how to make this section always displayed (even if it is empty). 
  In the Approval Delegation column, the possible values are:  
  • Delegated – Approval tasks originally assigned to other user that have been delegated to you.
  • None – Approval tasks assigned directly to you – no delegation.
  • Combined – Approval tasks that are both assigned to you and have been delegated to you by other user (when multiple approvers are assigned).
• Quotes – All quotes you can access. If you click a quote, a new tab with the quote will open.
• Price Grids – All Live Price Grids you can access. If you click a specific Live Price Grid, a new tab with the grid will open.
• Price Lists – All price lists you can access. If you click a price list, a new tab with the price list will open.
• Rebate Agreements – All rebate agreements you can access. If you click a rebate agreement, a new tab with the agreement will open.
• Agreements/Promotions – All agreements/promotions you can access. If you click a agreement/promotion, a new tab with the agreement/promotion will open.

To select what sections are displayed in the Home tab, go to Configuration > Home Page (Configuration).

 On the Home page, changing and saving the view preferences is not supported (with the exception of My Dashboards).
