Detection Rules Step (Agents)
The Detection Rules step defines the conditions the Pricefx Agent uses to identify relevant items in the input dataset, configuring rule logic on the selected series so that only records matching your business criteria are marked as detected and passed on for action creation and later review in the Summary step.
Detections Rules
Defines the alert conditions and schedule for the Agent. When the configured conditions are met during a run, Actions are created.
Series – Selects which series (for example, a base or join series) from the Definition step is evaluated by the detection rules.
Rules – Container for all rule rows that specify which records in the selected series should be treated as detected insights.
Preview Rules – Executes the detection rules on the configured dataset and shows a preview table of rows that meet the conditions, helping you validate thresholds and rule logic.
Schedule
Section where you configure when and how often the Agent runs so that detection rules are evaluated on a recurring basis.
Start Date – Date and time of the first execution of the Agent according to the schedule defined in this step.
Period – Time unit that defines the base interval between Agent runs.

Interval – Numeric value specifying how many units of the selected Period elapse between Agent runs.
A value of 0 indicates a one-time execution.
