Installation (Approval Workflow)

This installation tutorial is for Approval Workflow Accelerator version Approval Workflow and will take you through the use case when you do not have a workflow yet on your partition and you plan to use this Accelerator for approval workflow for your approval process. This tutorial can even be used on a new empty partition.

Installation Steps

Initial Step

  1. Access PlatformManager at https://platform.pricefx.com/ and log in with your account or using O365. If you do not have an account yet, contact Pricefx Support.

  2. Go to Marketplace and find the Approval Workflow accelerator.

  3. Click the accelerator tile, select the partition where you want to deploy the accelerator package and confirm the deployment dialog to start.
    For detailed description of all deployment options, see PlatformManager documentation.

The installation will override previous data tables with the same names as installed by the accelerator and also previous settings.

Sample Workflow Logic

  1. Select all the sample logics which you want to install, and then click the Next button.

  2. If you do not have any workflow logics yet on your partition, it’s a good idea to install those samples, as they can be used without any changes as provided.

  3. Wait for the deployment of the package. It can take up to several minutes.

Done

The package is installed now. You can click the Go to partition button to navigate to the URL of your partition.

Post-installation Steps

There are no specific post-installation steps. You can continue with configuration, e.g. with simple quote configuration.
