Disqualification Scenarios

There are several scenarios that have the potential to disqualify or fail candidates during the Integration Engineer Certification Exam. In preparation for the exam, you should review these to ensure that you are aware of these situations.

No Show for the Interview Challenge

Once the certification exam has been scheduled, then it is the responsibility of the candidate to notify the Interviewer if they are unable to take the exam as scheduled. If no communication is received and the candidate fails to appear for the interview Challenge portion of the exam, then that will be marked as a FAIL for the candidate.

PlatformManager Credentials

If the candidate comes to the exam without the necessary PlatformManager access credentials to perform the requirements of this exam, then their attempt will be marked as FAIL

IntelliJ Setup

If the candidate comes to the exam without the necessary Intellij tool configured and ready for use to perform the requirements of this exam, then their attempt will be marked as FAIL.

Rescheduling the Exam

If the candidate needs to reschedule their exam, then they must communicate this to the Interviewer (as defined in the confirmation email) at least 24 hours PRIOR to the scheduled exam time or their exam will be marked as FAIL

Emergency Occurrence

If an emergency situation occurs (family, personal, professional, etc.) that will impact their ability to perform the exam at the scheduled date and time, then it is the responsibility of the candidate to contact the Interviewer as soon as possible. The exam will be rescheduled for a future date, and this will NOT be considered a FAIL.

Loss of Connectivity

If the candidate should lose their internet connectivity, then it is their responsibility to contact the Interviewer immediately to make them aware of the situation. If they do NOT contact their Interviewer to make them aware of this situation in a timely, then you may have your exam attempt marked as FAIL.

Minimal Configuration Failure

It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that minimally required equipment is functioning properly. If during the exam any of the required minimal setup components fail (microphone, screen sharing, etc.), and it impacts the Interviewer’s ability to conduct the exam, then their exam will be marked as FAIL.
