Exploring Customer Insights Dashboards (2)

Customer Insights Dashboards consist of three separate dashboards which provide an overview of the trading performance of a customer group. They also support analysis of an individual customer’s performance.

So if you want to assess customer health, product performance, and their impacts on margin and revenue, track and identify underperforming customers and product groups to determine the necessary pricing strategy Dashboards in Analytics are the right choice.

How To Explore Customer Insights

All our how-to guides and video tutorials contain screenshot of our demo system and the information that you see will differ depending on your organizational configuration and the version of Pricefx software that you are running.

  1. To view existing dashboards, select a dashboard from the list. For this example we will look at Customer Insights – Global View.

  2. To view specific customer information, use the available filters to select what you want to see.

  3. Click Apply Settings for the system to display the new dashboard with your selected filters.

You can try to replicate this flow by filling out the fields with the information below.

Customer(s): CID-0008 (or your worst performed customer listed)

Time Filter: L12M

Top/Worst Customer: 5

KPI: Health Score

  1. To review the results check the Trends area

Note that some values are in red color for low performance in Revenue and Margin Trend YTD (year-to-date). You can try other filters to evaluate other customers (the display may differ).

5. To view Customer Detail View information, click on the Customer name. The system opens a new browse-page with the available details.

Evaluate Specific Customers

For this example we will look at the worst performing customers.

  1. Select Customer Insights – Customer Detail View dashboard from the list.

2. Use the suggested values to filter the information in this flow.

Customer: CID-0008 (or your worst performed customer listed)

Time Filter: L12M

  1. Click on Apply Settings to display the new view with your filters applied.

  2. Scroll down, review the results.

Note the revenue, margin, and products values for the lowest performance customer. Hover around the charts to see additional details.

Evaluate Products

  1. To evaluate products for specific customers, select Customer Insights – Customer Products Portfolio dashboard from the list:

You can follow along this tutorial by filling out the values below.

Setup up filters as follow:

Customer: CID-0008 (your worst performed customer listed)

Product Attribute: Product Group

Time Filter: L12M

Top/Worst Products: 5

  1. Click Apply Settings.

  2. Review the results. Scroll down, review the results.

Note the product type opportunities to increase the sales for the lowest performance customer. Hover around the charts to see more details.
