The Agreements & Promotions functionality can be used for the following scenarios:

  • Regional and seasonal discounts for different segments of customers

  • Standard discounts for a particular product group that should be always added for the volume purchase above X number of units

  • Assure that the subsidiaries of our umbrella customer get automatically the discounts that were negotiated

  • Limit the possibility to use discounts that drain the margins and affect the profitability

Agreement creation

The first step in the Promotions process is the creation of the Agreement, which will be linked on the condition type previously defined.

Price records

When the promotion is approved, a price record is created for each promotion agreement. They are displayed in the Price Records section:

Mass Updates

The Agreements & Promotions functionality allows:

  • Default discount calculations to update agreement promotions with new changes

  • Automatic discount input updates

  • Mass submission of promotion agreements

  • Promotion updates selection by user-defined generic filters (draft/approved)

  • Background jobs schedule for mas processing via Calculation Flow
