Note that simply configuring SAML does not change the way users can log in right away. I.e., SAML SSO can by default be used in parallel with an existing password-based authentication. There are some is a configuration options on both the partition level and the user level to force SSO login. In order to use SSO login, the user also has to access the UI with a different URL.
