  1. Go to Agreements & Promotions > Agreements & Promotions Types and click Add Agreements & Promotions Type.

  2. Give the new type a name, which must be unique. Note that Agreements & Promotions Types cannot be renamed once they are created – you can only change their label.

  3. Optionally, define a label. The label must be unique and it also cannot be the same as an already existing Agreements & Promotions Type namelabel. The label can be changed anytime.
If an Agreements & Promotions Type has a label, it will be displayed on the Agreements & Promotions list and detail pages instead of the name.

  4. Select the desired header and Agreements & Promotions workflow and creation workflow logics. The drop-down lists contain only active logics – you can, however, type any logic's label into the field. If no logic is selected, the default one will be used (in case of workflow logics it’s the valid and active logic with the 'Valid After' date closest to today).

  5. In the Configuration text box, you can define the structure of the Agreement/Promotion in JSON format. Specify how many tabs and what types of tabs the Agreement/Promotion will have. The editor will allow you to save a configuration containing only supported tabs. See the Knowledge Base article Detail Page Layout and Dynamic Tabs for details.

  6. Select a filtering logic that will offer only some Condition Types for the user to select from when creating a new Agreement/Promotion.

  7. You can limit which Agreements & Promotions Types the user will see when creating a new Agreement/Promotion by adding a user group in the User Group (View Details) column. Similarly, you can determine which users will be able to edit an Agreements & Promotions Type. Remember that certain rules apply to the combinations of user group entitlement settings.

  8. Click Add.
