Tips for hiring new QA Analysts
Mandatory requirements:
Real experience with testing on IT projects (2-3 years should be enough)
Ability to be independent on the project
Experience with testing during development phase and during UAT
Experience with pricing is not necessary
Ability to communicate effectively with project team and with customer
Experience with a test management tool - creating test cases, reporting testing progress and bugs, creating final test report
Ability to learn new things quickly
Knowledge of standard sw testing terminology and methodology
Optional requirements:
Test automation
Performance testing
API testing
Software testing certification (like ISTQB)
Experience with leading a group of testers
