Introduction
In this tutorial, you'll be exploring condition types for Agreements and Promotions in Pricefx.
Condition Types are the building blocks of Agreements & Promotions. Each line item in an Agreement/Promotion contract is of a specific Condition, or Discount Type, which defines how the contract is calculated and whether or not additional pre-configured fields are added for you to input information or parameters that provide data to aid the calculation.

Let's have a look at a few examples within the system. On the Agreements and Promotions menu, navigate to Condition Types to be presented with a full list of condition types that you have access to edit or view. |

Here you can see various Conditions or Discount Types that are set up in our Demo system. Your organization will have its own and so it will appear different. You will see a number of different pieces of information that should give you some indication of the type of condition or discount that is present. Such as the competitor discounts, promotion discounts, and the variety of other discount agreements and promotions that your organization is able to put into place. Let's have a look at some of the common characteristics and how the condition types are set up.
